Golden Gears Robotics gives middle-school students a place to turn ideas into mechanisms, code, strategy, and real competition experience. Our goal is to build strong problem-solvers: students who can test an idea, learn from failure, communicate clearly, and keep improving.
What students work on
- Robot design, prototyping, CAD and fabrication
- Java-based programming, sensors and autonomous routines
- Driver practice, game strategy and match analysis
- Engineering documentation and presentation skills
- Teamwork, leadership and gracious professionalism
We compete through the Bloomfield Hills Robotics middle-school FIRST Tech Challenge program.
